Our Lueders Limestone is quarried in large blocks, diamond sawn into different thickness slabs, then chopped to produce the desired product. This quarry has several layers each having its own distinct color. All of these colors are very consistent and will perform the same every time. We are proud to offer more colors in our Lueders Quarry than any one else. The colors are Cream, Two-Tone, Antique, Butterscotch, Roughback-Mix, Imperial Blend, and Roughback. The subtle change in color from one ledge to another enables you to mix the different Lueders stones beautifully together, while still maintaining the desired color blend. The warm cream, tan and gold tones with a possible light gray, make the Lueders stone an excellent choice for those who do not want the pure white tones of the Austin Limestone. Any of the Lueders colors can, however, stand alone without the compliment of another color. The Lueders roughback functions similar to the Austin roughback but is usually a darker gold or copper color. This limestone is harder and more dense than the Austin limestone. We produce mostly sawn top and bottom veneer stone with a split-face however, we can produce a rougher quarry chop stone upon request. The quarry blocks are also sawn into 1" & 2" slabs and used as flagstone, pool coping, and flooring. We also chop the 2" slabs into coping strips. We can produce them in just about any color and chop them to any desired width. We sell them to you by the ton, and you can sell them by the square foot. This will increase your profit margin. We also do wall caps and column caps any thickness and size. We are also sawing all colors and patterns of Lueders into 1" thin veneer with corners as well. One thing we do that sets us apart from others is we cut our corners to have a 6" return. This gives a stately look to the corners of the finished project.
